So.. that trip to TO was kind of a let down. Missed anything exciting on Saturday... the Dykes on Bikes parade was already over apparently by the time I got into town. Seeing The Birthday Massacre was awesome.. By the time MSI was on, I was in a pretty bad mood. It was hot.. and starting to smell really bad in the building when TBM was done. After their set, I turned around and the people I was at the show with were gone.. when they were literally 2 feet behind me during the set. Being ditched was not cool. Also not cool was the fact that every 5 minutes some idiot kid was asking if I had any E to sell them. Or if I knew anyone that did. Then MSI was too loud. I know the saying about being too old.. but seriously.. ACOUSTICS. . . They did not sound all that great from overly loud mixing.. and the fact Jimmy Urine kept shouting into his microphone during the between song banter.. All in all his schtick failed to impress me..
Anyway.. enough of that...
I've moved. Have my own apartment now.. Had a job, lost a job, continue to search for a job. The job I had, I'm not really concerned I no longer work there as I hated it. Working in the kitchen of a Chinese buffet restaurant here in town. They knew i had very little experience when I was hired but still expected me to work just as fast as the guy training me.. The guy that had been there 11 years. So being bitched at all day at work to go faster.. working 6 days a week for minimum wage, which would pay rent, telus, rogers and maybe let me eat ever day.. Fuck that shit.
Still don't have everything unpacked in my new place.. I like it, my living room feels huge.. I just don't know where to put everything yet.
I've sort of lost interest in this rambling as I have nothing profound to add.
