mmm.. so much dancing on friday and saturday night..
went to see 300 with some friends on friday night and then to Pandemic for a show.. 300 is a really fun eye-candy kind of movie.. very comic book-esque in the cinematography and there's a healthy dose of action-adventure movie cheese.. i love the arrogance of the spartan's.. it's pretty much how i expected them to be from what i remember from ancient history class.. the only thing i wished they could have shown in the movie was the phalnax moving in battle instead of stationary.. but.. that would have been really stupid to work in a small group of people defending to just go walking out in the open.. it was nice not working at the bar after for a change.. much much dancing was done..
then saturday night.. more of the same.. except.. not as much dancing as i hurt myself, on the walk there no less. i slipped on a big patch of ice sideways and twisted my ankle.. it felt better around 1-ish but i was kind of hobbling the half a dozen blocks or so until i get to the bar. good times again..
tonight i spent most of the night doing a light workout watching band of brothers. i didn't start counting until i'd been at it for about half an hour.. but then i did 100 crunches and 100 reverse crunches.. leg lifts.. this one thing that's great for the muscles that actually cover the side of your ribcage and my shoulders.. i need to start doing that more.. going to try hard to get back into the habit.. all the dancing on the weekend showed up today in how untoned i am now.. i'm debating seeing if my parents would be willing to bring my weight bench/machine up on saturday but.. i'm still not certain it'll fit in the spare room i have down here... something i shall ponder more this week (and measure to see for sure)
i just blanked out on what i was going to say.. but as this has been kind of an inane entry all the same it's for the best.. this is more here for me to stumble across later and hopefully inspire me to get off my ass and work out again for awhile

I don't really work out too much, aside from playing on my pole, which is just fun so don't seem like excercise at all... btw, I added you as a friend on myspace.
