the next person that tells me they love snow is getting kicked in the shins..
and then stuffed head first in a 4 foot snow drift..
i just walked for 2 and a half hours to go downtown and back..
i carried almost $200 in change to take to my bank.. which was closed.. so.. any bank.. they were all closed.. the framing place didn't have what i needed.. the music store downtown i haven't visited in a long time but meant to was closed.. the hardware store was closed..
the only thing accomplished in this 2 hour walk i meant to do when i embarked on the great trek was to bring back a piece of paper.. that i could probably just see on the store's website anyway now that i have it..
i get home to find out from my roommate it's a "snow day" for the whole damn city apparently.. buses/taxis aren't running so pretty much everywhere is closed.. sure would have been nice to know that at 11am before i spent 45 minutes breaking snow drifts up to my waist just to get to a sidewalk that.. while not shovelled/cleared.. eough people had at least walked on there was a sort of path..
on the bright side though.. between today and last night's impromptu sprinting through snow drifts for 15 minutes (also known as being nice to milla and taking my roommate's dog for a quick walk for fresh air) i've gotten my fill of cardio..
