you know.. sometimes i get downright angry and pissed off that people don't know about all these great bands i love..
first 3 that come to mind.. and.. i sort of ranked them in order of "accessibilty" or.. the order i think most people may like them.. because.. yes.. as much as i love more machine than man.. industrial is an acquired taste..
the electrocult
i'm bad at the name that genre game other than.. they're good? (and co-incidentally.. playing at the kathedral on sunday.. and i'll be in attendance.. doors at 8.. no idea what cover is off the top of my head.. but.. come visit me? and see a good band? )
go listen to them here (on myspace.. ick but.. oh well)
next band i randomly get upset that people don't like is scary valentine.. i find it to be very very sesual darkwave/harder synthpop.. like i said.. i'm bad at the name game.. but sadly.. they disappeared/broke up a few years ago.. leaving the world with only a scant few copies of Gorgon (hugs his) and the Shades ep (reaches out forlornly.. where or where art thou?) luckily.. back in 2002 i was a bad little monkey and downloaded basically their entirely commercially releasted catalog.. but sadly.. i could not find a way to order their stuff nor could i ever find it in stores so alas.. i could never actually support the elusive band while they were together.. from what i remember in a few articles i was able to find online.. the singer was/is a clasically trained opera singer.. however.. they shied away from media so information was few and far between.. but.. how hot is that? i know..
3rd band that randomly comes to mind is more machine than man.. this is just hard industrial/industrial-rock/really good music.. i had never actually head of them until seeing them live 2 nights in a row.. they were playing at an aids benefit i was volunteering at back in 2003.. and i've been in love with them ever since..

the music is great and they were really nice people..
again.. myspace.. but.. it's an easy way to listen to them
