Soon it's time to venture south of the Border to Loreto, BAJA... This will make my 6th consecutive Year to vist that quaint little Mexican town along the shores of the Sea of Cortez...
Sure the Main objective is Flyfishing for hard fighting Fish, but there's a Wonderful Beauty with the Sharp contrast between the seemingly Barren Land butted up against the Intense Life that swims in the Sea...
The Islands off the coast from Baja are Great places to just stare at from the Panga as we work the Shoreline... always something interesting about the Shoreline...
The waters themselves are always a Bright Azure Colour (for the Most Part).. far more intense then the Ocean off Southern California... and The Wildlife is amazing as well...
I always have a Great time down in Loreto, the Locals are very friendly (and one doesn't have to worry about Banditos as one would up near the Border), the Weather is abit Hot and Humid, but there's an almost constant breeze from the Sea.... very Refreshing...
I'm Sooo Ready to Head back down...
