this weekend we engage the 48 hour film competition. for those who don't know, the way it works, you register and on friday at 7pm, they give your team a genre, a line of dialogue, a character, and an object.
you have to make a 4 -7 minute movie within these limitations - it's like Dogme-lite.
this year i am with a very interesting team: several scriptwriters, a good art dept, and a director with some good ideas about how to engage it.
it's exciting, i'm hyped for it. on the downside, i doubt i will sleep from 1pm friday to 6pm sunday - i'm sure more long experience with insomnia will see me through. that and coffee, cigarettes, No-Doze, red bull, cigarettes, and coffee.
i'll cope, but the dog will be somewhat neglected, poor puppy can't be on set.
