I've figured out the tattoo I want to get. I'm going to get Kannon on my left shoulder. Kannon is the Japanese version of Kwan Yin, the Chinese Boddhisatva of compassion. I figure Kannon would be cool since I'm a zen buddhist and all, although the tibetan chen-rezigs and aviloketeshvara's are a bit more striking.
