I'm so very sad, depressed and angry with myself that yesterday, I had a relapse with my Multiple Sclerosis. I haven't left my flat since Christmas day last year, when I managed to get a taxi to my parents for a lovely dinner and day with my nearest and dearest and was supposed to, and was looking forward to doing the same thing this year....

Sometimes there are now words that can make the pain better. I can at least tell you that update seen and not alone. I feel for you and your struggles. Sadly, some of us truly understand the phrase “life isn’t fair”. I hope you can at least have a video chat with your family.

Thank you so very much @fredhincanada, @libris & @inkedodie for all of your kind words and thoughts. I will definitely talk to my parents today, but I'm SO gutted that I am going to miss the roast rib of beef with all the trimmings that I'm going to miss out on and have to do a microwave meal on Christmas day instead!!! As you can probably tell, I'm trying my very best to try to stay positive, even though it is extremely hard and I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and hope that you all have a wonderful day. Sending you all my thoughts and love to you and yours!

I was bullied as a child and thought those days were over until I became disabled and then I became a target of people who think that disabled people are a waste of space and a drain on society.
