Ok...so I know that not too many people read my journal, but I'm going to put a call out for advice anyway. Thanks in advance.
WARNING: This is a stupid boy/stupid girl problem, so if you don't want to hear it, just move on...pass GO and grab your 200 clams.
Moving on...I have a friend...we'll call her Angel. Angel has been my friend for a hair over a month now, but you know when you meet certain people and just "click" (or clique as it were) with them? That's how we are: fast great friends. However, this friendship is not one in which we know everything about each other, at least not yet, we're still working on the sharing bit. It's one of those things where, in order to understand her, all I have to do is look inside me, and there's the answer...follow? Good, I'll continue.
When I met Angel, she was seeing this kid, we'll call him Seth. Now, seeing as in no commitment, nothing too deep, fun all the time, and sex. You all know that type of relationship.
She was under the impression that she was working towards some type of commitment, as far as I understand, and he wasn't. Again, this is just as I understand the situation, I -could- be confused. She was made aware, by me, a few weeks ago (maybe just a week ago, the world's been in a warp since I've known her, but that's neither here nor there) that I've -been- the type of kid Seth is. Do something wrong, wait for the girl to get pissy, then be perfect...just to make sure that she stays...without the commitment.
Now, she's aware of this, right? So she's -already- hurt about the situation...and this morning, it ended officially. She told him that they wanted different things out of life...his response? "I saw this coming..." No emotion, no hurt, nothing. Just plain old " i saw this coming." So she's become bitter.
Now, insert my more than friends interest in her (which is reciprocal, if I am to believe her, which i do), and shake in this bitterness, and her aversion to talking at the moment.
What the HELL do I do? *confused and bothered*
