05:25 pm: Tiers of thought
Through discussion with someone very near and dear to me, it was brought to my attention just how much I believe in the exchange of information using thoughts beyond normal tiers of verbage.

Just as the lowest tier represents simply labels we use to describe things, tree and rock for example, so the second tier represents ideas and the like, love and faith, for example. I believe in a third tier that we haven't discovered the language or verbage ot convey...that of the union of the two.

Similar to the languages of the orient, this level of communication conveys entire ideas, entire modes of thought, in one or two words...or a combination of symbols. These symbols, instead of embodying simply words that describe something...they describe the entire scenario...the big picture as it were.

Further exampling: one of these such characters, could, hypothetically, represent a dreary humid day with dark clouds hanging over and the acrid tang of ozone in the air as a rainstorm approaches. Note how many words I have to use to describe this situation...note the waste of space. If I could use this -other- symbolage, I could have conveyed that entire thought in one or two symbols, instead of many many letters.

Now, follow please, I'm not saying that this level of thought and exchange of information is anywhere in the future for us as a human species. Not at all. I'm simply recognizing it's existence and stating simply, that there -are- people out there that wish to communicate at this level...and aren't to shabby at doing so.

A glance that speaks volumes.

A posture that recites shakespeare.

A tonality to your voice that drips promises
