I love spring... I've really enjoyed all the beautiful birds flocking to the feeders in the last couple of weeks. At 4 am Thursday morning I woke up to a noise... at first I thought one of my kitties had caught a mouse. So we got out of bed to check out the situation. Once in the living room we realized the sound was coming from outside, RIGHT outside the front window to be exact (where the bird feeders hang). My partner Chad says "it's probably raccoons"... so he opens the sliding door and sticks his head out to have a look.
It wasn't a raccoon.
This guy was hungry and having a snack.

Last night I was laying on the couch (which is right under the window, (you can see the window frame in the pic) it was still daylight around 7:30 when he came back for seconds. He just popped his head up in the window and looked at me like "hey, what happened to my sunflower seeds?!"
I doubt we've seen the last of him... from what I've heard they are pretty persistent creatures.

No wardrobe yet, but I can fit into my suit !!
So happy. I spent way too much on that suit. Had it tailored professionally by an authentic wizened Italian hunchback and wore it once. Then promptly put on 25 pounds.
I was beginning to think it was going to have to go in that drawer with the jeans from high school.
