Blah blah weekend love love Monday blah.
Well that's pretty much it!
Well, no I'm sure I can think of something else to write of vague interest....
Last week was boring, didn't do much. We went to the oub daily to sit in the sunshine, which was lovely. I love spring. It makes me start my day with a smile as I walk through a lovely little park full of cherry blossom trees and lavendar. I really really love nature, and I cannot wait till the day I jack it all in to go and live in the country again.
Anyway, Friday I drove up to Malvern to see my baby. I was feeling very skinny due to dieting and being good all week. It was so great to see him again. His mum and dad went off to Wales to watch the rugby, so we were left alone on Saturday morning, wooooo!! We then drove off to Hereford to watch his schoolfriend Niel Oseman's new film Soul Searcher, which was an action type, sci-fi affair with Buffy-esque demons, laser guns, a steam train ride to hell and a very embarrassingly for Jamie large amount of screen time devoted to his band King Monkey, which was great! They kept cringing but it was so funny, especially when the main characters were air guitar dancing to one of their early demos in a cafe. Brilliant stuff. The film was shot with a budget of 20,000, and I must say I was very impressed. The animated effects reminded me slightly of Evil Dead, and look where Sam Raimi is now! There were some slightly dodgy parts, but on the whole, very impressive. And the director of High fidelity even sang Neil's praises at the end. So a person to watch I feel.
Sadly Jamie developed a migraine in the evening, and was out of action for a few hours. I felt terrible as there was nothing I could do for him except give him sympathy and hope he got better It was heartbreaking to see him in so much pain
But he was ok later.
Sunday we went to a pub in the Malvern Hills for a meal with a friend of his whom I've never met before. I had mould on my pudding. Serves me right for having a pudding I guess!
We then watched the american Ring film, which was way better than the Japanese in every way, plot, effects, explanations, even suspense and value. So that was cool. I didn't want to leave. But I had to, with a massively painful ear from my recurring ear infection, which has now spread to my other ear. I'm going to have to go on antibiotics I think. which, rubbishly, will mean no drinking for Ciel's birthday. Bah. Unless they don't give me the antibiotics.
I miss my baby. I can't wait for our loooong weekend next weekend. Hooray for agnosticism and Christian holidays!
