So we had an extremely eventful day yesterday.
Firstly, we had an offer accepted on an awesome little flat up the road. It has a garden, a bigger front room, and a cat flap!! So exciting. My outgoings won't go up by terribly much either. So it's a winner all round.
Then my car had another attack of "I'm going to stop working on the motorway" itis. Fucking great. My Dad replaced a part on it over Christmas which seemed to work for a while, but now there's a problem with either the fuel pump or something else. It's a worry, and since I am absolutely skinto this month I am dreading calling the garage on Monday.
So anyway, afetr it packed up on the M4 (it stops then if you wait a few minutes it starts up and runs again fine for a while) we turned back through Bracknell to get back on the M3. We were comingdown the duel carriageway and this brand new looking hatchback comes tearing past at breakneck speed, then pulls back into our lane ahead of us, carries on, scrapes along the barrier, sparks flying. Then it drifed into the fast lane, bounced off that one, bits flying everywhere, then disappeared out of sight. So Jamie started calling the police and as we went past a turning we saw the car through the barrier, in a ditch. I feel awful becuase there was nowhere to stop - barriers on both sides and lorries bumper to bumper in the layby which came up about a half mile later...but it was such a new car they are very safe, and I suspect it must have been joyriders. We got an ambulance sent out to them and the police took all our details so fingers crossed.
The car fuck-up meant I am now not up at Frankie's tattoo studio talking to her about my gun tattoos and getting my back tattoo lasered to prepare for a big piece.
Absolutely gutted. Feel terrible too about not honouring my appointment. Boo.
Still, in better news, I have lost half a stone! Only half to go, or, preferably, the slimming down of thighs and bum without losing any more. Am thinking about taking up kick boxing to continue my health kick.
How's everyone?
