Either of those choppers will handle like shit. Hardtails with spindly frames and unreliable engines... You're looking at a two-wheeled version of the hotrod nightmare you're in right now. Ever worked on an old Triumph engine? How about Amal carbs? You sold off a bike that would run circles around either of the examples you've shown me. The VMax had decent brakes, reliable electrics and carbs, somewhat sluggish handling and a whole lot of motor. You're young now, but in a few years you'll appreciate shocks & springs between your kidneys and the rear axle.

If you don't have it right now, you'll want a full set of guages on that motor, as many monitoring devices as you can stick on there: tach, oil pressure, oil temp, water temp, vacuum, cylinder head temp (measured with a thermocoupler ring around a spark plug, adapted from aircraft stuff).
Last night I assisted Austin Police Department out with a barricaded subject. No big deal, I just sit out in the dark and point a rifle at the house and wait. Then it started to rain. whoa...that is totally messed up. My job involves being the person that processes the sexual assault kit for DNA evidence.
I'm supposed to be on vacation, but I had jury duty and actually got picked, so I've been at the trial all week....Can't tell you the details till the trial is over.
