I missed Red White and Tuna. The last night it was playing was last night. I love the Tuna plays, but I've never seen this one. I was even in a production of Greater Tuna in high school. Tuna must be modeled after the little town I grew up in. I've been working a lot of off duty stuff lately and it slipped my mind that the play was running.
I've also been renting DVDs to watch while I work these little off duty gigs and the pickings are getting mighty slim. Last night I watched the latest in the Blade series. That was probably the dumbest movie I've ever seen. It was only slightly better than Nymphoid Barbarian in Dinosaur Hell. NB in DH actually had one of the best trailers ever! I saw the trailer at the Dobie theater when I was at UT and it took me 8 years to track down the movie only to be seriously disappointed. I wanted to rent The Road Warrior as my other movie to watch, but my lame video store didn't have it in stock. Therefore, I rented The Passion and decided to go with lame Mel instead of cool Mel. I got this rental free by the way. I refuse to let any of my money go to support it. Any way, I thought Passion would piss me off and give me some good material to write about, but it didn't. I wasn't offensive. It was just boring; nothing more to it than that. It would have been fun to heckle it in a theater, but not so much all alone. I was able to entertain myself by keeping track of how many times his teeth switched from bloody and ugly to the pretty capped teeth of an actor back and forth between scenes.
The only news to speak of is that hopefully the machine shop will be done with my heads tomorrow, so I'll be able to put the hot rod back together as soon as I get a little time. I'll finally be offering rides in the new toy. I still haven't decided if I'm keeping it.
