Today I had a choice. I could clean the house or get the garage set up the way I want it...The house is still a mess. While I was going through boxes, I discovered an old stereo I had owned way back in high school. It even had a turntable! I hooked it up and it worked although through only one speaker. There was the Beastie Boys "License to Ill" in the deck. I later tracked down Faith No More and a tape I had made off the radio of the Dr. Demento show. I had a blast setting up the "play room" and listening to my odd and eclectic teenage musical tastes.
I can't wait to find a 60 or 61 Chevy Apache stepside to put in there so I can try to shoe horn a big 502 into it!
Tomorrow-Roller Derby!
Where are you Hot-Rod-Girl? X

I love listening to old records, I wish people just got together and did listening parties. Everybody brings and ols album, plays the sonngs they love and sits around tellingg stories. I'd be all about that.
Think of me at Roller Derby. Hope find that Hot Rod Girl.
