flaneur

so this weekend i left london for the first time since i moved here six months ago well left isnt quite the right word since i just went for a picnic in surrey but hey we crossed the m25 and that has to count for something and there were farmers fields and cows and trees and stuff and afterwards we went to a pub in an old church and they had a african grey parrot next to the bar and he talked and made the sound of corks popping and everything and it was sunny and then i got kinda sick but im feeling better now and the thames smells so salty tonight and i couldnt find my favourite heron but i know hes around the canal somewhere and i hope you are well miss you xo oh and here are some slices of the weekend
