I've Been Away
...well, not so much away as severely neglecting SG due to too much work, hanging out with my parents last week on their first London visit, lack of any good new photos to post, over-drinking, and what have you. Back I'm back now. Hi. How've you been?
On the over-drinking front, I have a killer hangover this morning thanks to fun fun times last night at my first SGUK bash. It was fantastic meeting everyone -- thanks for being so friendly and making this errant Canadian feel right at home. (Gracious host / birthday girl Hologram, who incidentally is cooler than can be imagined, even made sure I stumbled onto the right nightbus at 2:30am and everything. Thank you.)
Okay. I would write more but I have to go out and find a foreign newspaper (preferably Russian) and cut eye-holes in it in order to complete a hastily-assembled costume for the spy-themed martini party at the Canadian embassy tonight. (No, really. This should be interesting. Will report back!)
Yours,
-flaneur
P.S. Public service announcement: Aspasia makes the best mix CDs in the known universe. They will make you laugh, cry, and fall in love. Fear her powers. Do not let her near a CD burner or a post office. Airmail from Aspasia MEANS TROUBLE. You've been warned.
