whew... 45 minutes of tetris and boy are my calves burning.

so yeah got the DDR pad to talk to tetris yay! so i spent 45 minutes playing tetris and getting the settings for the pad just right. there's this great application called USB overdrive X that i found with no help from Redoctane.

"Sorry, all the drivers and everything you need come equipped with the dance pad already. No drivers are needed for installation or for use with your computer. We have never tested the pad with a game other than DDR or StepMania, so it would be interesting to know if it works for Tetris. Sorry we can't help you there. Thanks for choosing Redoctane!"

oooh, i'm so excited for tetris goodness. tetris without guilt!!! tetris is my personal crack.

a little confession for you guys. when i was in 3rd grade or so i would daydream in class. all the time. know what i dreamed about? tetris. i would imagine the pieces falling and lining up in my head. i kept track of about 10 blocks wide and 6-8 or so high. it sounds like a lot to keep track of, but i didn't really build complicated structures, i wanted to get many tetrises. i can't honestly say i chose the falling pieces randomly. it felt that way, and i didn't give myself a long piece too often.

hm. i wonder what my teachers thought of me as i sat there in my little tetris trances.

in other news, a >4mi bikeride in the arizona sun with black tshirt and dark blue jeans at 1pm -makes mary surly, strong and sweaty.
