well, went out to Huntsville for my propulsion confernece, went through hell and back working 18-hr days to get my paper and preseentation done at the LAST possible minute, and then whammo, the talk goes well and i met a lot of people and it was absolutely amazing. learned a lot, met some bad people, some good people. and i may not be flashy with my work, but it's solid, honest and legit. so i'm happy. also might have gotten a job out of it.
the "freebies" were awesome too--at one point they had 10 desert tables (5000 people there) one of which featured a chocolate waterfall for strawberry dipping. ridiculous. the stress of recent months was insane, but we all have to cut our teeth somehow right?
