Well, my cool ass landlord/boss decided he's selling the place I'm renting from him (actually his fiance) out from under me.
He offered to let me buy it, but because of financial crap it will be several months before I can start to try. And he knew this and all the while told me "no problem man, take your time, no rush. we'll wait for ya to be ready."
yah wait until someone else showed interest in buying it. within a 3 days of him telling me this other guy may want to buy it they had paperwork drawn up and the house sold. Settlement in 30 days.
Bitch.
But between that he tell me "don't do anything yet, I'm not sure of this guys intentions if he's really going to buy" Basically wanting me to hang out as there "backup" in case this guy doesn't want it
Heh, fuck you, assblast.
So now it's summer. Meaning I work mandatory saturdays (m-sa) 8am-7pm...sunday only day off. and I have to fit in trying to find a place, not to mention packing in less then a month. I have until the 25th really, which I took off, just to get out.
Meanwhile I just spent $1500+ on work tools, depleting my funds. Gonna be real fun trying to come up with first month+security on a new place.
Best part is this guy is my boss (manager of the dept I work in) and I can't even cuss the little ass out as he can (and will, as he's a childish prick) make my life shit at work. As if it's not hard enough this time of year to begin with.
oh well. what do people usually say in cases like this "at least I learned a lesson". Never trust a co-worker/boss. Especially a two-faced one. Though I guess that shoulda been a given.
