Talked to the ex (most recent ex) yesterday. It was a really stupid conversation. Actually, I told him when we were dating that I wanted to join SG, and I told him that I finally did it. So of course, he asked to see my profile, and I don't have qualms with that; I don't have any naked pics of me here anyway.
And then he laughed because there are (and I quote) "Suicide girl boys", and I said, "Yes, Suicide Boys," and he said, "No. Suicide girl boys." Now, this ex is notorious for putting down any other guy I may associate with, so of course he's got to make fun of my current boy too. I think he's just jealous because he's not getting laid AND I AM!!!
Damn rights, I hope he comes back just to read this journal entry.
I can't believe this guy sometimes. It was really bad when we dated and he made fun of my ex and a friend of mine who had asked me out, plus any other guy I would talk to from then on.
Rant rant rant.... ok. I'm done now
Happy and cleansed.
I think that being in a horrible relationship sometimes is good. It makes you appreciate a good relationship even more, and you always learn what not to put up with anymore.
I can see though, how a horrible relationship can be damaging to future relationships in the sense that it can make you overprotective, or paranoid or whatever. I was worried about being a freak of a gf, but I also think about girl friends of my guy as I do about my guy friends. And then I realize that opposite sex friends can just be friends. Yes, my ex had his ex prior to me cheat on him. But that never justified a reason for him to flip out on me and think that I would do the same. He also never had girl friends who were "friends". As he quoted, "Guys hang out with girls to eventually be with them. If they really just wanted to hang out, they'd hang out wtih their boys." Whatever, I'm glad it's over anyway.
However, if I ever run into him again in person, the gloves are off. FISTICUFFS!!
Oh yes, and PS. asreal and I were walking through the park today and there were 12 squirrels in about a 2x2 meter area. It was crazy! And they were following us. I think they were plotting.

and squirrels are evil. i swear some of them here in toronto are smarter than most of the people i go to school with.
