Another Monday. At least a productive one personally. I just paid of 8 accounts. Hurray! I have 2 others that were closed because of the time difference. I will call them again tomorrow.

Saturday's party went well. I made up a 16 qt pot of gumbo. Not too shabby. Well received. In a few weeks, I'll serve them up an Amercan style BBQ.

I feel much better getting those taken care of. Sent some money to my brother-in-law to help him pay off a loan that he had taken out to pay for my mother's funeral. I'll send him a couple of more installments over the next month.

My dad finally sent my mail that had been stacking up there since October when I flew him over. He just went back last month. So I went through that today and paid off those accounts and also found a check for $490 from someone I had overpayed. Bonus!

I'm feeling much better now. There is light at the end of the tunnel. I had the money to do it for awhile, just didn't want to let go of it. A few more to pay off this week and will get a new policy for our car sitting back in CA. I'll pay the whole policy upfront.
