Yesterday I did the Hulaman Half-Ironman triathlon relay. I was on for the bike portion. 53 miles. Faired pretty well. It was pretty windy and the hill at 40 miles sucked. But I finished well, for me. Never felt too tired. Kept myself well hydrated. Pleased with results. My gearing was off. The rear derailleur was way off. Wouldn't even move to the largest cog and jumped on the next biggest. Knew I should've adjusted them before the race.
Thinking about getting into doing time trials. There are several TT races here. The season is nearly over here though so that'll be next year.

Congrats on your triathlon time, sounds like it was mostly good (apart from the gearing)!

Yes...this winter it is going in for an overhaul when the shop runs their special. Had the bars retaped on Saturday and the mechanic said I needed a new chain and likely a new cassette due to the wear. I was looking around for a new cassette anyway with a different ratio and the chain is not a big deal.
