So it's that time of year again and I'm plugging away at work. I've never been one for the holidays anyway. Presents, family, social gatherings and snow. All things I prefer to keep a safe distance from. I have never been close with my family and have always been a bit of a lone wolf so this is the time of year I focus on working and keeping my little butt nice and toasty.
This year, however, I have a partner that really enjoys the holidays. She grew up going to church and spending the time with her family and friends. This time of year brings up many positive memories and feelings. Which, in turn, encourages me to want to make some nice memories with her too..
So as of right now I'm at work, dreaming of being at home with my girl and our dogs, curled up on the couch with some coffee and Netflix. Ill be sending out my love to all the other people out there who would rather be somewhere else, doing something else. May all our dreaming keep us feeling warm and loved today.
