My husband bought me the movie, The Notorious Bettie Page .
I loved it ^_^ There's one line in particular in the movie that made me go "You know what, she's abolutely right! Why hadn't I realized that yet?"
She uses the line in two scenes. In both scenes she's basically questioned as to how she could be a religious person, yet still model nude.
Her response, " Adam and Eve were naked in the Garden of Eden. They put on clothes when they sinned."
Wow....I mean wow.
I was born and raised Catholic, and though I question and even go against the Catholic thing from time to time, I'm still a Christian.
I'm also a SG hopeful.
Ever since I decided to be one I've had this little voice in the back of my head asking me should feel guilty about wanting to pose nude. As silly as it sounds, to people who don't beleive the same things as I do, I couldn't help but think, "would God approve of this?".
I had never imagined that a movie could change my life....Then last night. That one line, just reached out and made me go "wow".
Now I feel much more confident about my decision to continue trying to become an SG.
It's funny where some of the answers in life can come from.
