All is well. Little man has been sick with a little cold/allergies that have turned into pink eye. FUN, FUN! Putting eyedrops into a three year old's eyes is not FUN!!
He is actually turning three years old in a week. It freaks me out! I can't believe he's actually three already. It seems like yesterday he was a little, fat, round little baby. Time flys! Took him to Party City so he could pick out his bday invitations and decorations. He chose PIRATE STUFF! I'm so proud of him! $86 dollars later, he's ready for his party! Damn, who knew paper plates, napkins, tablecloths and pirate hats could be so freakin' expensive! Oh well, it's worth it! On his invitations I'm gonna ask the kids to dress like pirates! Vanni is very excited!
We got a new puppy a few days ago. Her name is "PIRATE GIRL" (go figure) and she's a teacup chihuahua! She is 1.5 pounds at 3 months old and she may grow to 4 pounds at most. She's so cute and sweet! Vanni loves her, and he carries her around. It's sooooooo cute. He walks around with his cup in one hand the dog in the other. I've got some pics and I'll try to attach one!
Otherwise, work is still a bummer. My ex-boss is such a bitch. I'm hoping to have a chance to tell her how I feel this week. She'll be in cleaning out her office and making sure all paperwork and contacts are current for her replacement. Working for a non-profit you have a Board of Directors that oversees everything and then the Director who raises the money, and me who runs the office. Well, apparently my ex-boss has been talking some shit to a couple of the Board Members about me and they told me what she was saying. All I can say it that she'll be getting a big piece of my mind this week. End of story.
Beyond the drama, our golf tournament is getting closer and closer. Things are getting busier and busier. So, here goes with the pitch line: If you or anyone you know has a business and you think they would like to donate a service, or an auction item for our Event, please let me know. Or, if you have time and you would like to volunteer to help at the Event, it is going on July 14th and 15th. On the 14th there will be a Dinner/Gala at the ABQ Convention Center. This is when we will have the Silent and Live Auctions. On the 15th is the actual golf tournament. I could use volunteers to help for both, so get me a message if you're interested.
Oh, and i've been working on my right sleeve for the past weeks, so I'm gonna be posting a few pics of that, too when the healing is a little farther along. I'm beginning to get excited to have it done!
