Anyways, back to regular life! So, are you coming to the SGNM get together tomorrow?? I hope so, cuz it's been a while since I've seen everyone! Friends and Food are one of my favorite combinations!! Yay!!!!!
Spring Break is officially underway, and for those of you that have kids in school you know how it goes!!! Fun for about a day or two and then things get out of hand!! I'm hoping the weather here in ABQ gets a little warmer so we can go to the Zoo and the Aquarium.
I'm getting tattooed again on Tuesday and for this I am wayyyyyyy excited! We've been conceptualizing and designing our ideas into a real state of being. It's such a cool process when you are working with an artist who is really into what they do, and who is genuinely thankful that you have allowed them to play such a part in your life. Not all artists think this way. Many of them are selfish, many of them do not take the time to think about your vision, many of them just get it over as quickly as they can. But, there are those few dedicated artists who see tattooing as an important part of your life in that it will be with you until you are dead. These artists thank you for believing in them. These artists feel proud that they have been chosen to help you on this personal journey. It may sound corny, but these are the artists who become your friends. Who become part of your life. In my 16 years of being tattooed, it's rare to come across these types of tattoo artists. I can name all I have personal experience with on one hand. And, these few are my friends beyond the tattooing. Crazy, but true.
Well, I am off to give little man a bath and get him dressed. He's taken quite a liking to Mr. Hanky, the Christmas Poo lately. He talks about him and says, "Howdy Ho". He's starting to learn some of Mr. Hanky's song, too. I know, I know, it's not good, but it's soooooooooo cute!! We were in the store a couple days ago and he goes "Mom, what does Mr. Hanky say???" "He says Howdy Ho!!!!" (and he does the hand motion that goes with it), and everyone around us started cracking up. I love my baby boy!!!!
