so im really looking foward to camping, however i may have to quit a job in order to go. right now im working primarily as a lifeguard for $10 an hour, 9 hours a day, 3-4 days a week. and also working at a Barnes & Nobel for $8 an hour, 2-3 days a week, from between 4-8 hours a day, lately 4 hours. so the week of the camping trip I asked off for, last week, thursday i got off no problem from B&N, sat i allready had off, sun i got off from lifeguarding. friday however, is a day im available to work at B&N, not already scheduled to work, available, however I was told that i cannot be gurranted the day off because FUCKING HARRY POTTER comes out that weekend and you can not request off that friday sat or sunday, I'm not available there Sat or Sunday, so i cant be scheduled to work those days.
so it works out like this:

Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday
off I can be scheduled off off
anywhere between
7am and 11pm

however if i put in my 2 weeks notice by the 29th I can have that day off (they do their work scedules 2 weeks in advance. considering this week im only working 12 hours in a 3 day span and the week after 8 in 2days I dont think im gonna miss much. also employee apreciation weekend was last week and I got pretty much all the books I wanted. the job is boring, the guy I work with is cool, and apparently im good at it. I dunno. I dont really need the money, and they way its been going the first hour I work is used on gas generally. advice?
