My friend back home is really into music, like, the expert of it really. The dude plays a five and four string bass, and is a damn good roarer. He recently confided in me that he was putting together a metal band, fronted by a woman. Symphonic metal has a certain appeal to it, so I signed on as a lyricist and keyboard player.
I have no idea how to play a keyboard, but I've got a good bit of time to learn. A year and a half or so out on this chunk of rock, and then I can dick around back in my home state. I don't care about trying to become famous or anything like that, just sounds like a good time.
Back to the female lead, I admit I was uneasy with it. But then I remember bands like Halestorm, The Pretty Reckless, and In This Moment. My body showed me bands like Otep, Amaranth, Eths, and Fit for Rivals. I was super impressed, and look forward to hearing what we can make.
Just figured I'd say my bit, been awhile since I wrote on here. Got a lot more personal issues on and what not. Ja Ne.
