We mainly moved in together because we wanted to split our bills. So it was mostly a financial decision. However, soon after she moved in she lost her job and I have been basically supporting us both ever since - which has put a lot of tension on our relationship and the fact that she lives here. This kinda sucks - so I would advise on both of you contributing to the household finances to avoid anything like we're going through right now.
I'm happy she moved in - like I said, I miss her when she's not here. But I really do like my alone time. She gets mad if I don't spend time with her when we're both here so it's kinda rearranged my free time. She doesn't like me to talk online all the time and not pay attention to her - she's an attention whore and I didn't really realize this until she moved in. I guess you learn some things you didn't know about the person before after moving in with each other. We're slowly learning to get through all these rough times of learning. We signed up for counseling to help us because we really want to make it work.
If both of you are clean, that's a good thing. Also, if one of you does all the housework and the other does nothing, that could start to suck - as it does at my house because I do it all. If you're pissed about something, talk about it right away because otherwise it'll suck later on when you're really mad. I dunno... I hope this helped a bit.
