The ankle: all fixed, happily so, by my new doctor - she's just the most cutest person I have ever met.
No doubt: everybody should have a female doctor in the wings. You can really talk (if you are a male anyway) to a babe like this about any ailment. First time I thought I'd say:

Some of the bestest news these last few months came this week (Monday), but I ain't saying nothin' untiil I sign the contract and get the check next Friday. Life changing experiences coming up, I hope.
Thanks to all who helped me through a miserable time, notably panigirl who helped more than she knows. Send her love, because I really thought crunching up my ankle was fairly horrendous, but my fault (make that three times horrendous). Oy, such a klutz.
