It's always kinda difficult to deal with someone close to you breaking up with his girlfriend. Especially when they live with you and are crying the entire night right next to where you're sititng.
There's not a whole lot you can say. I go over the things in my mind, and they either will remind him of her or make him angry at somebody which isn't good. I think it's best that I let him deal with it.
On another note! I got the new Zelda last night, preorder version. It's the coolest thing ever. I promised my little sister I wouldn't play it without her (she's a Nintendo nut) - so I can't play into the wee hours of the morning. Frustrating to have it there but not play it. Oh well, now instead of beating it in three or four nights, I'll beat it in 10 or 12 nights. Longer the better, I guess
