Woo, just got back from LA, doing what I do best : hanging out, watching TV, and eating.

Food was definitely a big part of everything. I was there with my pal Eric of www.emotioneric.com. Here was the menu for my stay:

+ Il Peppino's (Friday Night) - Italian place. So-so. Give me Buca or Pizza Chicago anyday.
+ China King (Saturday Night) - Chinese Buffet. Anything with the word "Buffet" in it is a-okay with me. This wasn't as good as President's Restaurant here in the Bay, but good nonetheless.
+ Homemade burgers (Sunday Night) - Big fat meaty burgers. We were met with logistical complications at every turn, but 3 or 4 trips to the store, and lighting cardboard on fire seemed to solve our problems.
+ Brazilian BBQ (Monday Morning) - Beef + Breakfast = Heaven. Those Brazilians had the right idea.

Other than that, I watched a lot of pre-recorded episodes of ALIAS (not being a regular watcher of TV,
I would have never caught it on my own) and it's remarkably good. Time to download all the episodes myself.

Oh yeah! Kudos to O for some nice layout changes to the profiles and journal areas. They're minor, but it's the little things that make a difference. (If the credit *should* go to someone else, sorry!)
