Life is a battlefield and I got shot in the stomach. Fijjy
Not sure where this line came from but for now I like to think I made it up myself. I wrote this in an very early blog of mine. It seems to sum up how I feel about "My Life" (not life in general, just mine) because when you get shot in the stomach if you don't get the proper help you will suffer a long, painful death. Seems like for every two steps I get in the game something happens to set me four steps back...never getting anywhere.
It's been such a long time since I've blog mostly because I didn't have access to the internet on a consistent basis and I was too busy with work and school. Now with both of them behind me (for the time being of course) seems like I have plenty to do such a blog on more of the same (if you read any of my previous ones!)
Do you listen to Erykah Badu? "That Hump" speaks to me, especially the chorus
If I could get over that hump
Then maybe I will feel better
Maybe I won't fall
If I could get over that hump
Then maybe I will
Seems like every decision....... well not all but the ones that count... I make the wrong one, but i'm not trying to. I don't think I know what I really want in life so I just go along with other peoples decisions with the thought "I'm just a nice guy". But am I a "nice" guy or just subservient........
So here I am again at a point in my life where I have to make a decision that will affect my life for a long time. Will I make the right one and get over that hump or will I once again fall on my face, shot in the stomach......Only time will tell.
I've decided on another tattoo to finish my half-sleeve off! If you've seen the pics you know I have a tree tat on my arm will there is a space between my elbow and where the tree tat starts that I want to fill with 'I Ching' designs. I'm sure ALL of you are like WTF is he talking about for you go here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I_Ching#Trigrams and check out the Trigrams. I want to get these designs wrapped around my arm just under the tree tat. To put it simply, this is a more complex way of presenting the Yin/Yang symbol.
Since I have not done this in a while I will end it here so I don't write a 20 page essay and so I have reason to blog. Thanks for taking the time out to read this let me know what you think, I see now there isn't much content but I'll work on the part later!
Peace, Love, Ashaa
