i bitched in this very journal about how bad the hurricanes were. how inconvienced i was without my power, etc. i feel like a jerk considering the events of this week.

all the kitchen staff at my work are all sri lanken so they've all been glued to the t.v's watching. they're all trying to get ahold of their families and cant... its really sad.
