Ok...so my hometown of New Orleans is about to be knocked over and destroyed, then soaked by flood waters and destroyed some more and I am totally freaking out.
My uncle is staying in my house in New Orleans waiting out the hurricane in a house that is unboarded and completely unprotected in a city that is already below sea level and will surely flood.
The worst part is that I am completely useless here in Chicago and I feel helpless.
