Happy Mardi Gras!
Tonight I'm cooking up some red beans & rice, corn bread, and daiquiris. Ahhh...just like home! I also bought a king cake today from Dinkel's bakery. It's not too bad for a Chicago-made king cake.
Also, when you get a chance, check out Salome's new set. HOT!!!
And remember that even though we're partying today, most everyone in the Gulf Coast is still recovering from Hurricane Katrina so send them some love (money, goods, services) if you're able.
