HAPPY MARDI GRAS!!!
ok, so i'm back...and i'm going through withdrawals of booze, parties, nekkidness, and booze. oh...and nekkidness.
HIGHLIGHTS (in no particular order):
1) a total 7 hours of sleep between friday night and monday morning.
2) sooooooo much booze. mmmmmmyummy!
3) crawfish. oh. my. god. crawfish is so delicious.
4) lunch with my grandma. we had po-boys. i love my grandma!
5) strip club. it's gonna be a great night when girls bring up the idea of going to the "titty bar" (as they put it). the best part was the indie rock stripper girl who pulled my friend amy up on stage and made out with her on the stage floor.
hot
6) parades. my city still knows how to throw a party. hurricanes be damned.
7) seeing old friends and running into sooooo many of them at random.
8) MAX: 3 of the top marching bands in the city (St. Mary's, St. Augustine, Xavier Prep), numbers severely decreased by the hurricane combined their forces to ROCK MY FACE OFF. oh my god were they awesome!
9) the freedom to: a) drink in public; b) bring outside drinks into any bar; c) walk into a bar for the first time at 5am and order a brew; d) be as debaucherous as you wanna be
10) house rule: nobody was allowed to shower alone. in 3 days i took 3 showers with 3 different people.
and now here are some pictures. my digital camera broke before i even left chicago, so i only got off a few pictures from my phone.
THE MAX BAND
FRODO
DAN ACKROYD and ANDERSON COOPER
i'll be getting some more photos from friends later, so i'll post those when i do. and i've got some great stories that i'll tell you sometime.
