When I get sick, it seems as if I'm sick fooooooreverrrrr.
Yesterday was exactly 3 weeks from when I started coughing, and I'm still sick today.
But oh no! Don't you think for one second that this has been just your regular run-of-the-mill cold. With Fierydelight, it's ALWAYS an adventure.
It started as a deep chest cold. Deep, hard coughs kept me up all day and all night .. not to mention sleepless nights for those around me as well.
This degree of coughing led me to the Dr. exactly 5 days after it all began. She listened to my chest, took my temperature and sent me home with a new inhaler, saying "It's just a cold."
Shortly after that my ribs started to ache. I was told that the harsh coughing had probably cracked my ribs or torn the muscles in front of my right lung. Because there's nothing you can do to speed up the healing process, I just suffered through the pain.
10 days after the "cold" all began I started throwing up blood. I went to the ER, where they though I might have pneumonia. They checked my lungs, temperature and blood pressure and did chest x-rays, and after 3 hours I was sent home with the doctor saying "It's a Cold, try not to cough."
Gee, thanks.
Now today .. I'm still coughing .. I'm still not sleeping .. my ribs are still aching. I went to the Dr. again and this time she thinks I might have Whooping Cough. wtf. Most people were immunized against that when they were babies! She told me that as we get older, the shots we get as babies start to wear off.
Now I'm on T-3's until she can figure out exactly what's wrong.
T-3's make you constipated. Fantastic.
