The weekend has come to a close, more or less. Still not even three but I am ready to relax. Friday I skated out of work after 2 1/2 hours so i could get home and get ready. Elise and I with our friends Mimi and TJ in tow went to San Fran to get an early dinner at Momo's and then hit the Dave Matthews show. Honestly, it was rather disappointing. I have no idea who his guest that night was, but he could play the blues guitar really well. The problem is...every song had 2 minutes of song and 12-15 minutes of jamming around it. Now, I like a good jam band session as much as the next guy but when your paying nearly $70 a ticket to see a band play music you want to hear them play things that get you up and make you want to sing along or dance or something. You cant dance to a jam session. After 2 hours I think they played no more than 10 songs, of which 2 were even considerable as hits of any of his records. We made it an early night. One of our friends was having some intestinal issues so we didnt go cross bay to a club I had us on the VIP for so that kinda made the night even less eventful that it could have been. We dropped the friends off and got in early.

Saturday was pure relaxation. Woke around noon and casually got ready and showered. Went to a great deli for lunch and wandered around downtown Santa Rosa a bit. Then Elise and I came back to my place and did a little napping followed by some other things. She was quite pleased with waking from her nap that way... kept her giddy thinking about it for hours afterwards. She then asked me to take her to a bar to watch her football game (Oakland/SF) which is a first for me. Its nice having a girlfriend that likes some sports as much as I do. We did the bar thing, met friends in at another bar and shot some pool then came home for a movie and went to bed again around 2ish. Just an all around no pressure day which was perfect.

Anyhow... I think I will rant a little since it has been way too long......

-- Why is it now that I get a %12 percent raise at work I am still so disappointed. I think it took less than 24 hours before my resume was updated and sent out all over... I wanted 30-40% and felt slighted...I am so greedy

-- I hate when you get a resume in to someplace and the people damn near jizz when they ready it because you are perfect and then they dont call for a week or more...what the fuck is up with that...gimme a goodamn interview already!

-- How am I to blame for relationship problems in friends? A guy, known as a player, asks me for relationship advise in general and i tell him honesty is the best thing he can give a woman. Now he gets an ultimatum that a girl wants him not to date other women and it's my fault? For a 28 year old living at home still he really just needs to grow the fuck up and stop blaming me for his life's foibles...

Thats it...cant ramble any more...I am off to either play BF2 or watch a movie or some other banal shit on TV for no reason as I lounge away my sunday afternoon...
