So this bottle weaning is completely wearing me down right now.
I want to kick and scream. In fact I want to kill someone..a bunny, small animal of some kind.
The first 3 nights were okay, he took a bottle with water after begging.
And then refused to drink it.
He got up on average 8 times and finally fell asleep round 11-11:30.
Tonight I tried to put him down with none at all.
Fuck me, he's already been out of bed 6 times and it's only 9:30.
He's had dinner, a bath, two books read, tucked in, hugged kissed.
And HE'S UP AGAIN!
I want to punt him off a bridge...
FUCK!?@@!?>#@<!!!!!!

i know what you mean, dude. in my opinion, its not worth having amelia scream and cry and get hysterical over me taking away her milk. i brush her teeth, i feed her a balanced diet. she gets enough sleep and doesn't suck her thumb or use a pacifer. who the fuck cares if she still needs milk to go to bed?! its not worth the stress at all... at least i don't think so. back in the day, parents didn't even put their kids in car seats and had walls full of asbestos. so telling us we're bad parents for giving our kids the one thing that helps them sleep is bullshit. you brush his teeth, right? i'd been only brushing amelia's teeth before bedtime, but when i asked the doctor about bedtime milk, she said if we were going to keep doing it, we should make sure to brush in the morning too. that will help combat the risk of tooth decay and keep her sleeping cozy through the night! try it! and fuck those assbags who tell us we can't do what's good for our kiddos!

He still being a pain? He'll get used to it eventually. I'm weaning myself off of bottles too. It's probably tougher for him though.
