I just got back from the gym. My first ever workout. I wasn't as confident in my ability as the trainer was but I got it done. I got a little dizzy when I stepped off of the machine though. I think maybe next time I'll cool down longer.

A new club opened up right down the street. I think I'll check it out this weekend. They probably play hip-hop music but that's ok because they have really good drinks. We went for dinner with some friends from my girls work on Tuesday and I got a nice buzz from two cocktails.

One of my classes might get canceled. It's a class taught by the head of the English department who is a lesbian. I don't know why but I get all happy when I see a gay person in a highly visible occupation like that. Especially one who is out and not afraid to talk about their life without using words like, "the person I'm with," or "my room mate" when talking about their partner, lover, or whatever else you wanna call it.
