I am about half way done with the sari I am knitting for one of Ian's deities. I have a Friday deadline for this it, considering how long I have been working on it... yeah. I should be further along.
After I finish it I am starting my first none scarf type project.
Diced Kilt Hose.
I am a brave woman. Luckily my friend Kitsa has been knitting for about 25 years, so she can help me.
I am rather excited about the socks. Ian promised to wear them even if they are ugly as hell. Gods bless him.
We decided to make everyone's Christmas gifts this year. Not just the kids but my sister and parents as well as his sister and mother. So far we are thinking reusable shopping bags/totes for our sisters with something funny and snarky cross stitched on the front.
The kids are a bit harder though I think leg warmers for Ella and maybe a hat for Audry would be cool. The boys are harder. They are all so different. Airan is really into soccer and the Jamaican National team in particular. So we might do him a scarf or fingerless gloves in their colors. The younger boys might just get knitted toys or hats. Not sure yet.
My dad is getting a knitted Thor's hammer. Even if I have to come up with my own pattern. Maybe a pillow or something. He will love it.
If you have any idea's, send them my way.
