I love going out and having great meals with my pals. I am not a social butterfly by any stretch of the imagination and my core group of friends is pretty small. When I see them, which is rare considering all the traveling they are doing lately, it is always a good time.
Tonight Ian and I met up with Donna and Logan, both of whom are fun in a very laid back sort of way. We tried this little vegetarian/tea place down on Rivington st. near Houston (not that far from The Stanton Social). I have to say it was quiet good and on the cheap side. Their desserts are all vegan which kept me from blowing my WW points and all in all it was a really good night.
Speaking of friends, our buddy Allan is moving to London for work and the general consensus in our group of comrades is that he will be missed. He really is a great guy. I have the biggest need to force him to keep one night for all of us to get pissed at our local before he goes. We are all already debating when to go visit him, which I think says a lot about how loved he actually is. Everyone is broke and living pay check to pay check at this point, but we still plan on setting cash aside so that we can see him sometime in the next year.
It is going on 11pm and I need to head to bed soon. I still have my makeup on and don't think it will be coming off before I crash. Tomorrow we are meeting up with one of the girls from my coven and having an evening of British TV and maybe some tea.
