My seeds are all planted.
We have a batch of hot peppers, eggplants, okra, marigolds and two each of tomatoes and bell peppers.
I am really excited for them. I've never had my own garden before and if this one is as good as I hope it will be, then I plan to do it again next year with more plants.
Might do pumpkins later in the year if Ian doesn't mind too much... and potatoes and onions as well. Maybe a few turnips and all those yummy root veg that we like to eat in the winter.
I'm sitting here listening to the Bay City Rollers and avoiding writing. I have felt the desire to write poetry for a few days now. Sonnets and the like. I know it's because spring is on it's way and it can't be avoided(the poems not the spring), but I just don't know where to start.
I have discovered a new found love of peanut butter and jam sandwiches. They are totally vegan and taste great. Not that I am becoming vegan. I am just trying to decrease my intake of animal products. Except honey. Fuck that noise. Honey belongs in my tea. I refuse to give that up...
Celtic beat The Rangers on Sunday and it made my day. When it comes to Old Firm games I am ridiculously superstitious. I refuse to listen to or sings songs that talk about any team but Celtic on game day. I also try my best not to say anything against The Rangers. They are horrid bastards that cheat and would attach their own grandmothers if they were on the opposing team, but on the day of an Old Firm match I don't say any of that... at least not until the game start.
Ian is feeling better which is a good thing. I have been kissed exactly four times in the last month and I am about to attack strangers for a bit of affection.

I saw the match and I'm hoping that was the tipping point and Rangers are now done for...but we'll see.
