As pascipio pointed out to me, I have a lack of Celtic news in my blog.
I should have let everyone know that Celtic came back from what looked like a second place position in the SPL this year, to beat the rangers and take their rightful place as league chaps for the third year in a row.
The game was great. Our local went nuts when the Bhoys brought it home. I know for a fact that more then one NYCeltic member was praying to the football Gods and asking them to bless the sheep shaggers for beating those dirty hun's like they stole something. Which is pretty much what they were trying to do.
I've been a rather horrid fan this year. Not making it to the games as much as I should and also not know what is going on unless StrongBhoy or my husband keep me updated. But that doesn't mean I don't still bleed green.
Celtic FC is pretty much the best team in the history of ever. Period.
It's funny that I am updating now, a week later, because yesterday I wore my Celtic jersey to the gym. On the way there I was waiting for a friend outside his office when a guy came out and looked at me. He got this odd look in his eyes and said "Go Rangers". I just looked at him like he was retarded then he laughed and said "Go Celtic!"
Smart man.

I was in Cabo San Lucas at the time. I went to the local sports bar, and there was lots of soccer on all the tv. I figured I was set. I went to the book to play a best on the Bhoys and was told they were not taking any bets because they did not have the game, so they did not set odds. I ran to every place I thought might have the game, but nobody did.
I had to get the results via computer.
I suppose what it really comes down to are the two stars on my Forest jersey. It is fun to think that Nottingham, newly promoted into the Championship Division, has won UEFA Cups and Chelsea has not. Nothing wrong with Chelsea, not at all. I thihk it was two years ago, when Forest was one of the better teams in the first division, they took out an EPL team in the FA Cup, and drew Chelsea. The result was predictable.
Beyond Forest, the only two teams in England I have any sort of affection for are Arsenal and Liverpool, and only because Forest started those teams. Mention that to fans of those teams; see how it goes over. Bu it is true.
Have you noticed at Ibrox they celebrate a victory of a cup that no longer exists?
