well NPR says that its gonna be a week till provisions and such are counted in ohio. i cannot believe bush won the popular vote!
i may not have heard correctly, but they also said that one out of ten 18-24 yr olds who were registered came to vote. that the economy and moral values were first and second in reasons for the young votes.
this is what that fucking shit means to me!..
one: young dumbasses voting for bush for economy reasons must LOVE India, because that's where they are going to have to go to EARN THEIR PAYCHECK!
don't get me wrong. i really love and respect india and the people and everytime i see actual indian people, i smile inside because they are so intriguing. i just want usa to be a job juggernaut.
now for two: young people voting bush on moral values can only have me assume that the scary majority of them are homophobic and have violent sentiment towards homosexuals. see, i live in the demographic and the culture of 18 to 24's and some of you readers do. when i am out and about on the interent and in reality i'm regularly blasted with their slurs and intolerance, most are derived from christian fundamentalism which makes me shake with frustration at how they see the world with such beedy little bush-eyes.
despite my soldier-stoic hope that kerry wins ohio, i'm also feeling hurt and tired at how we, a reletive 49% population, must bend over to the reletive 51% population's bigotry and sapping of resources everytime these kind of huge numbers come up in history.
even if and when i move to a coast that's brimming with enlightenment, those poor people and i will have to suffer overtakings like this. i will never have children, but i feel so sad and fearful for the kids right now. bush has introduced and encouraged the end of the world of co-existence. the angry islamist youths will try to attack them. their fellow citizens will investigate their beliefs like inquisitors and wallyworlds will have the states cemented and painted and money drained leaving only minimal wages and distraught workers.
such a pessimist when i dwell
at least europe may help us on iraq's problems
at least i will get a meager tax break that i'll use to pay a 60,000 student loan
at least i'm only going to stick around this humanity for another 20 years
little sparks go off in my eyes when i see a noble maple leaf
