Well, my shin splints are healing up well, but not as fast as I had hoped. I began running again last week, but I'm taking it easy. I could probably struggle through 8 miles, but then I wouldn't be able to walk right for a week again. I am keeping my eye on the bigger picture and opting to heal well, so I'm not racing tommorrow. This will mean ultimately more races later. There's a cross country race later in the month. October brings a stairclimb/run, an 8 miler, and a 10 miler that I'm excited for. I figure two more weeks and I'll be back in it. Even though I'm not running as much these few weeks, there are lots of weeds to deal with so I still get a work out, puls there is always work.
Chicago was good times. Saw the King Tut exhibit, that was cool. Got to try escargo and rabbit. Can't say I was impressed with either. (soory to my veg. friends). My work week is almost over and it's up to my dad's to do his yard work. Cheers.
