Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes...I had a great birthday this year.
I guess the few days I spent in a good mood are now being counteracted with me being in an overall poopy mood accompanied with feelings of needing to vent and/or rant about something.
So I shall.
I really don't know what to think about the set that went up today.
This is adding to the number of problems I'm starting to have with the site.
I joined over a year ago because I liked the idea of the site and wanted to support it...plus, I wanted to see the pretty girls (of course). However, lately I'm becoming very conflicted as to whether I really want to pay to be a member anymore.
The first problem I had was with the Playboy thing, but I dismissed my qualms with that because...hey, it's about time the mainstream widened its definitions of beauty standards. & what better place to start?
However, that gets me started on another issue. Even though this site is inteded to be diverse regarding its models' appearances, it's still upholding a beauty standard that is, to most, not possible to achieve. I appreciate the diversity of the site with regard to race, body type, etc., but honestly, I don't think a girl my size would be accepted as an SG. Even the "thick" or "full-figured" girls here are not that thick or full-figured.
This is why the girls on the Plus Sized Women group are in an SG group, and not actually featured on the site.
Call me out if you want, but that's what I think.
Lastly, the twins set. I'm pretty conflicted about this. While I try to remain as open-minded as possible, part of me is still bothered by it. Despite the fact that the girls are beautiful and the pictures were taken tastefully, depicting siblings undressing each other in a sexualized manner bothers me because, well, it's borderline incestuous.
Call me conservative, but I cannot advocate that.
The other part of me says I should respect them for being so daring and comfortable with each other to go so far as to pose nude with their twin.
But how well would the set go over if they were just sisters, and not twins? Or cousins? Or brother and sister?
Isn't this just supporting a double standard this site was trying to avoid?
I've met a lot of cool people from this site and I still enjoy it for the most part.
I just don't know how much longer I'm gonig to spend money on it.

the whole twin thing was kind of a tripp and there definatly seems to be a bias towards certain body types. its understandable if you chose to put your money elsewhere
